East-Belmont Trading Pte Ltd started in 1987 as a representative for major market leaders in the manufacturing of loose leaf and lever arch mechanisms in South-East Asia.

In 1990, the management of EBT sensed an increasing importance amongst file manufacturers in the region for automation. Together with contract manufacturers in Taiwan, EBT set out to build a range of machines for the paper and PVC file industries.

By 1999, EBT evolved to become ebt-sysmac (asia) pte ltd. Today, the company has invested in and manufactures its own specialized machinery that services productions for pp stationery, albums and packaging products.

To meet the needs of the group and facilitate its growth, East-One (Dong He) was set up in 2003, complete with brand new manufacturing facility in Shantou, China. This new set-up is destined to take the group further and propel it to brand new heights.
